The exhibition presents a selection of works rooted in collage, printmaking, and drawing, reflecting Salehi’s distinctive layered approach, which interweaves memory, material, and transformation.

Salehi’s female figures, partially concealed, move with a gestural rhythm through real and imagined landscapes of Iran. Suspended in space, they seem to inhabit a dimension built through successive layers, in which the artist interweaves found photographs, drawings, and motifs impressed with ritual prayer stones. The act of covering, however, does not concern only the female bodies, but extends to the worlds they inhabit, opening a broader reflection on the relationship between what is real and what is constructed — politically, physically, and metaphorically.
