As part of Cremona Art Fair 24 - 26 March 2023, in collaboration with the Combat Prize, 20+ a call for DRAWINGS was born, a project entirely dedicated to drawing, a practice that in recent years has seen a process of redefinition of its boundaries.
Through a contest curated by Camilla Remondina in collaboration with the artistic direction of the Prize, the best artworks on paper will be selected to give life to an exhibition project which takes the form of a study on the phenomenology of drawing, common and shared basis of every artistic experience.
Born to offer an opportunity for growth and visibility to all those realities and creative experiences characterising contemporary artistic production, with particular attention to young generations, the exhibition will take shape during the days of the fair in a sort of progressive arborescent genesis, putting artworks in dialogue with the curator’s choices and the surrounding environment.
The contest is free and open to all contemporary artists of all nationalities. There are no age limits or thematic constraints. The call is open to all forms of contemporary drawing.
